Why I liked this title:

Can’t get your hands on Twilight – it may be your lucky day – this one may be better. Yes, it’s a story about a vampire. Yes, it’s a romance involving a high school girl. Yes, the vampire is handsome! Then the changes begin. Jessica Packwood is a mathlete, who likes to think everything in life is like a mathematical equation. Only a few months away from her 18th birthday when a Romanian named Lucius Vlasdescu shows up at her bus top and totally freaks her out. The freak out was she found out that she was a royal vampire Princess and she was betrothed to Lucius, a Vampire Prince, at her birth. Jessica thought the whole vampire thing was absurd until her adoptive parents confirmed what Lucius told her. Jessica did not believe a word of it and that is really where the story takes off: how will Jessica be convinced? There are a lot of laugh out lines as the snobbery of European royalty comes out in Lucius as he adapts to life in a small town American High School. He has lots to say about the American slang and the boring teachers. Lucius is a big hit with the girls due to being gorgeous and charming! Beth Fantaskey has managed to make a vampire book both funny and suspenseful and, at the same time, keep the romance sizzling! I wasn’t an eager reader ready to join the Vampire market, but this one made me a convert!
