Why I liked this title:

In this fun story, four siblings come upon a magic coin one summer and discover that it grants wishes, only it doesn’t grant whole wishes – just half! Jane, Mark, Katherine, and Martha end up in the Sahara desert, in King Arthur’s Court, and in many funny -- and sometimes scary –- situations. Each child takes a turn at wishing, and in the process, becomes a bit wiser for doing so. The children’s wishes also add up to something very special: the great fortune of a wonderful stepfather!
