Why I liked this title:

Do you have a favorite book series that you utterly love? Clarice Bean does. She is a huge fan of Ruby Redfort mystery novels and just can't put the books down. Ruby is an undercover detective, similar to Agent Cody Banks, and Clarice wishes that her life was more like Ruby's. Her teacher, Mrs. Wilberton, is NOT a fan of Ruby Redfort novels and scorns Clarice for always having her nose a book that is "unsuitable material for little girls." But Clarice insists she learns a lot from Ruby and is determined to feature the Ruby Redfort series in her book exhibit on Parent's Night. Trouble ensues when Clarice's best friend disappears, her book exhibit partner gets disqualified, and the prize trophy goes missing. Can Clarice Bean solve these mysteries just like Ruby Redfort? Don't let the 190 page number fool you, this is a quick, fun read with entertaining font and pictures!
