Why I liked this title:

Matilda is all of 4 years old, sensitive, brilliant and neglected by her parents. Matilda finds acceptance in reading books and visiting the library to talk with Mrs. Plelps, the librarian. Matilda cannot accept her father's crooked ways in his used car business. She plays some tricks to maybe change his ways. See what happens when Matilda starts school, at 5 years old, and locks horns with Miss Trunchbull, the tyrannical headmistress. What happens to Miss Honey, who is Matilda's teacher and Miss Trunchbull's niece, when she defends Matilda? This is a funny and riveting book that is not to be taken seriously.
