Why I liked this title:
High school sophomores Lorraine Jensen and John Conlan are friends who help each other out by listening to each other's problems. When they decide to play a practical joke on a strange neighbor, Mr. Angelo Pignati, better known as the Pigman, they discover that he is actually quite interesting-- and lonely. They spend some time with him after school, and then one day the Pigman has a heart attack. John and Lorraine watch out for his house while he is in the hospital-- but they also decide to have a party there. This is when the trouble begins....
