Why I liked this title:

If you like adventure stories that you just can't put down, you have to read this book. Matt Cruse is a cabin boy on the airship, Aurora. He dreams of someday becoming the captain. Matt finds great adventure when he meets a dying balloonist who speaks of beautiful creatures drifting through the skies who are completely real and utterly mysterious. Soon Matt teams with the balloonist's granddaughter, Kate, to find these creatures. Along the way they must battle pirates, a typhoon, and much more. If you like this book be sure to check out the sequel Skybreaker.
