Why I liked this title:

I found this to be one of the most moving and beautifully written books I have ever read. The story is told in the first person by an 11-year-old named Lonnie, nicknamed Locomotion. He is living in a foster home after the traumatic and tragic loss of his family. With help from his teacher, who encourages Lonnie to write down his thoughts in the form of poetry, he is eventually able to begin to heal.
