Why I liked this title:

Railway platform 13 has long since been abandoned in favor of the newer, sleeker train station but, though it isn't a busy place currently, once every 9 years it is a busy place that serves as the entryway for travelers to go to "The Island," a magical place where humans live amongst mermaids, ogres, and other fantastical creatures. Mrs. Throttle, an obnoxious woman, steals the prince of The Island and raises him as her own. The King and Queen assemble a team of rescuers including a wizard, a hag, a fey, and a young ogre to bring the prince back to the Island. Their mission is not an easy one, especially when they discover that the prince is an unlikable little boy.
