Why I liked this title:
Fourth grader Peter Hatcher has had enough of his challenging little brother, Fudge. Why can’t his parents see that Fudge’s antics are becoming an ever increasing problem? It was hardly cute when Fudge knocked out his own two front teeth while trying to fly or that he scribbled all over Peter’s homework, but when Fudge actually ate Peter’s beloved pet turtle, Dribble, enough was enough. I think that anyone who has a younger brother or sister will be able to relate to Peter’s difficulties with Fudge. Each chapter in this funny book deals with another of Fudge's actions that poor Peter, as the older sibling, has to deal with. How will Peter deal with Fudge and prove—to himself and to others—that he really is something?
